​Professional Ballet Classes with Svetlana Sorin

Svetlana began her dance education in Saratov, Russia where she studied at the ballet academy named after A.Vaganova between the years 1975-1985. She graduated with a classical ballet dancer/ actress diplome. Upon graduation she started working as a soloist of the Kazan opera and ballet theater in Russia and danced there between 1985-1992. Year 1992 she immigrated to Israel and started working as a soloist of the Jerusalem Dance Theater. Since then she have been dancing in many productions with different companies and worked with top choreographers such as Valery & Galina Panov, Yakov Lifshitz, Marko Ivan, Bill Luther, Vitaly Novitskyy and many more. Since 1992 Svetlana is teaching ballet in different settings and many of her students are now dancers and teachers. 

The emphasis in her class is personal attention, reinforcement of technique,correct and clean work, as well as realizing the full potential of each dancer, whether dancing professionally or not.
